An important part of the local building code involves the zoning
of land. Do you know how your property is zoned in Hamlin? The official
map below signifies the different types. The table of Zoning Dimensional
Requirements should help to further clarify the allowable setback
requirements when one considers taking out a building permit for
any reason. Of special attention is the Shoreline Residential (SR)
setback where a general requirement consists of having a side setback
determined by the width of the lot, I.e.: a 60-ft. lot width (using
